The Energy Star Program

Learn How To Identify ENERGY STAR Compliant Windows & Doors for Your Project

Energy Star Program LogoChoosing windows and doors that provide the greatest energy efficiency and therefore the greatest savings on energy bills is easy; the Department of Energy sets the rigorous standards and Atrium manufactures the right products to meet or exceed those standards. We’ve done the work for you.

But there are a couple of things to keep in mind. A window or door that meets the Department of Energy’s requirements will carry the ENERGY STAR logo giving you peace-of-mind that you are purchasing a product with enhanced energy efficient properties.

Secondly, with different climate zones throughout the United States there is no “one-size fits all” ENERGY STAR requirement. Different regions require different standards of energy efficiency. In other words, what is needed in the south is different from what is needed in the northeast. No worries. Atrium has the products to meet or exceed your energy needs no matter where you live.
